TESTING
The TRAAM products are continuously tested by the leading European testing institutes and meet or exceed the requirements of international standards for impact waves, manual attack, ammunition and fragments.
Depending on the product application, we provide in the external renowned European testing laboratories or we perform in our own testing laboratory:

1. Ballistic resistance in accordance with the following standards:

  • STANAG 4569 a AEP 55, Volume 1, Protection Levels for Occupants of Logistic and Light Armoured Vehicles, level 1-4
  • EN 1063 (2000), Security glazing, testing and classification of resistance against bullet attack, protection class BR1-BR7
  • VPAM BRV 2009, Testing guideline special protected vehicles, test level VPAM 1 – VPAM 11
  • NIJ Standard 0108.01, Ballistic resistant protective materials,  level  I – IV
  • EN 1522/EN1523, Windows, doors, shutters and blinds, bullet resistance, protection class FB1-FB7
  • GOST R 50963-96, Armor protection of special cars, level 1-6a
  • ATPD 2352, revision T, Testing of transparent armor, all classes and all temperature ranges
  • UIC CODE 651OR,  Layout of drivers cabs in locomotives, railcars, multiple unit trains and driving trailers, Vp 350km/h
  • EN 15152, Railway applications – Front windscreens
  • EN 23125, EN 12415, EN 12417, EN 13128, Safety of machine tools, requirements and/or measures to eliminate the hazards or reduce the risks of turning machines and turning centers

2. Resistance to manual attack in accordance with the following standards:

  • EN356,  Glass in building, security glazing, testing and classification of resistance against manual attack, resistance class P1A- P5A and P6B-P8B
  • EN1627, Pedestrian door sets, windows, curtain walling, grills and shutters, burglar resistance, resistance class RC1-RC6
  • EN1143-1+A1, Secure storage units, requirements, classification and methods of test for resistance to burglary, resistance class up to level II

3. Explosion resistance:

  • DIN EN 13541, glass in building   security glazing , testing and classification of resistance against explosion pressure, resistance class ER1 till ER4

4. Standards, test methods and regulations that have been assessed by the International Notified Bodies:

  • Regulation ECE 43R Standard ( Uniform Provisions Concerning the Approval of Safety Glazing Materials and their Installation on Vehicles) in parameters: humidity resistance, high temperature resistance, radiation resistance, resistance to temperature changes, chemicals resistance, inflammability, identification of colours test and optical distortion and secondary image separation testing of windshields.
  • Approval granted from Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic for production of laminated-glass panes other than windscreens having a regular transmittance >70% (standard automotive safety glazing)
  • EN 14449 (Glass in building. Laminated glass and laminated safety glass): Evaluation of conformity/Product standard
  • Regulation 305/2011/EU (Construction Products Regulation - CPR): Certificate of constancy of performance
  • Directive 89/106/EEC (Construction Products Directive – CPD) : Certificate of conformity
  • MIL STD 810G Department of Defence test method standard (Environmental Engineering Considerations and Laboratory Tests) in parameters: temperature shock test as per 503.5 method, solar radiation test as per 505.5-II method, vibration test as per 514.6/ITOP 1-2-601 method, humidity test as per 507.5 method, sand and dust test as per 510.5 method.
  • BWB TL 2350-0006 (Assemblies made of bullet proof glass) : certificate of conformity
  • Directive No.78/317/EEC (Defrosting and demisting systems of glazed surfaces of motor vehicles): defrost behaviour
  • ATPD 2352 revision T (Testing of transparent armour):  night vision goggle response function, rock strike testing.
  • DIN 52305 (Determining the optical distortion and refractive power of safety glazing material for road vehicles): certificate of conformity
